SCT offers children and young adults, who have had amputations resulting from bone cancer, access to the best technology available in the manufacture of artificial limbs.

An ongoing fund of £250,000 has been committed to this particular area of cure. SCT is able to fund C-limbs, which enable high performance activities, and also special crutches and wheelchairs not available through the NHS. This fund attracts applicants throughout the UK who have otherwise failed to find the level of support needed for such disability.

Meet Adam Dickinson

“By helping to fund the new chair, SCT has given me so much happiness in a sport I love, which has helped to reduce my weight and the stress and anxieties associated with having neuropathic pain. My life is now very exciting; I have finished my degree and am looking to move onto the next step in my career in psychology.”
